Here is some good news for male fertility.
A newly published review has shown that oral antioxidants may prove statistically significant in
improving pregnancy rates for couples in which the male has sub-fertility (meaning sperm that aren’t well, formed, inadequate supply or poor swimmers).
According to sources between 30% to 80% of male subfertility cases are considered to be due to the damaging
effects of oxidative stress on sperm. Antioxidants appear to improve sperm quality by reducing oxidative stress.
In several clinical trials, patients were given oral antioxidants that included Vitamin E, L-carnitine, zinc,
and magnesium with statistically significant increases in pregnancy rates.
